With the sincere efforts of our Founding Fathers, Late Mr.Chittajit De and Mr. Nabarun De, Central Modern School has grown in size and stature. Today, with their blessings, we strive to ensure holistic development among the youth. We endeavour to encourage and build Global citizens who exhibit “humanity” which is the dire need of the hour.

Man is known by his deeds, his deeds surpass time, barriers, difficulties, adversities . The brightness of dawn overwhelms the darkness of night, so does human effort in overcoming the darkness of difficult time. And every honest effort put in has its own reward.

Come, let us put our effort in doing our duty sincerely and brighter days will soon be here. Let us work together to uphold the motto of our school, “Learning for Liberation” of the mind from ignorance.

    Masters in Arts & Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2023. Bachelors in Performing Arts from Presidency University, Kolkata in 2021 (First Class First, Gold Medalist).

    I was awarded the prestigious "Dr. Syamal Kumar Chattopadhyay Memorial Prize" from Presidency University, Kolkata for being first among all subjects in the Bachelor of Arts batch of 2021. After completing my Masters in Arts & Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, I am currently doing freelancing in publishing and editing. I have been writing original research papers for several national and international conferences and journal publications. I have been learning Hindustani vocal classical music since the last seventeen years and taking training under Omkar Dadarkar of Gwalior Gharana. I frequently perform as a graded artist at All India Radio,(station- Kolkata). In 2019, I reached the semi-final round of "Karaoke World Championship" in Tokyo, Japan representing Indian music. For my academics, I wish to remain in the field of research for upcoming years and explore the area of visual culture and material anthropology.
